Urethane foam offers a number of advantages beyond its excellent insulating value and light weight:
SEAMLESS Sprayed on urethane foam has neither joints nor seams, nor the heat and water leakage problems associated with them.
VERSATILE Several types of urethane foam are available. Each has characteristics to meet the needs of a specific application.
RIGIDITY Urethane foam will not sag, buckle, pack down or mat with ordinary use. It thus retains its insulating value for the life of the installation.
FLEXIBLE Urethane foam moves with a structure's normal expansion and contraction without cracking or otherwise breaking down.
INERT Urethane foam is an inert substance, although it must be protected from direct sunlight. It is odorless, has no nutritive value to rodents or insects and will not break down from attack by either mildew or fungi.
WATER TIGHT When covered with protective coating, urethane foam will not absorb water.
