A professional roof inspector will be able to point out the problems earlier before they result into anything serious.

You Can Repair a Roof as a DIY

This is not only a myth but also a potentially dangerous belief that can cost you your life. There is more to roofing than just placing the shingles and patching things up. You need certain qualifications and experience to do this safely and correctly. Do not attempt to repair your own roof if you don’t have any experience. Hire a roofer instead.

Roofers are Very Expensive

Roofing is an important maintenance procedure. Remember, it protects your family against the snow during winter, hailstones during storms and high temperatures during summer. The cost of replacing a roof might be higher than other areas in the house, but this does not mean it is expensive. Flat Roofs Reduce the Resale Value of the House

Many people have been made to believe flat and metal roofs reduce the resale value of a house. This is completely false. Many buyers prefer flat roofs because they can use the space to do other things such as solar and air conditioning installations. They can also plant rooftop gardens and store other items on the roof. In fact, flat roofs add back a half of their initial cost of installation.

In 2004 Foam Experts installed a new foam roof on our 2 story townhouse. The whole process was easy and informative. They came out periodically, for free, to check the roof’s condition and do any necessary minor repairs. In 2014 and again in May 2022 we had them recoat the surface after a complete inspection.
